BIOMOTRIX aims to establish the basis for collaboration between stakeholders in the health sector, physical educators and scientific advances in the field of research in biomechanics of human movement.

Measurment of biomechanical parameters of locomotion can detect potential problems, identify their causes and so propose solutions directly to the customer or stakeholders in health or fitness.

The objective of this collaboration is to limit the impact of disorders of locomotion on the functional autonomy of individuals.

Specialties //

CLINICAL EVALUATION GAIT AND POSTURE

Your medical team or coach could have access to :

        - accurate data about your walking pattern

        - compare your walking pattern before and after surgery

        - follow the evolution of your walking pattern after a rehab program

.

BIOMECHANICAL ANALYSIS FOLLOWING DATA COLLECTION

We put at your disposal a solid expertise in clinical research in the field of biomechanical analysis of locomotion (walking and running).

TAILORED EXERCISE PROGRAM FOR REHAB

Following the biomechanical analysis of your gait or running technique, a series of customized exercises will be suggested to optimize the acquisition of a symmetrical and safe locomotor pattern.

WHAT IS BIOMECHANICS

Biomechanics is a tool that uses the laws of physics to accurately model human body motions.

Using state-of-the-art equipment, we are able to determine the parameters of your gait or running pattern and follow their evolution according to time.

CLINICAL BIOMECHANICS

Biomotrix is dedicated to put in application new findings in the field of biomechancis, to help clinicians in their diagnosis.

PHYSICAL EXERCISE AND REHABILITATION

The theoretical framework behind the elaboration of the proposed exercises is based on the theory of dynamic systems.
Dynamic systems theory is often referred to in physical activity when it comes to learning, and begins to infiltrate the field of rehabilitation (Holt, Wagenaar and Saltzman, 2010).
Our exercises set-up make it possible to address functional deficits by causing optimal adaptations in the individual.
We aim to restore your deficits:
     - in strength
     - in endurance, both muscular and cardiovascular
     - in the more diffuse capacities like equilibrium, coordination and ability to adjust locomotor activity according to the environment
